Microban® Protection: a Koala Baby
Changing Station exclusive.
Microban technology is built into Koala Baby Changing Stations and
becomes an intrinsic part of the Station. When microbes, such as
bacteria, mold and mildew which can cause stains, odors and product
deterioration come into contact with the station surface, Microban
protection penetrates the cell wall of the microbe and disrupts key cell

ADA regulations when installed properly. The horizontal Baby Changing
Station extends no more than 4" from the wall when closed, it conforms
to ADA regulation 4.4.1 when and where applicable. The vertical mount
Baby Changing Stations should be installed with the bottom leading edge
at 27" from the floor as to meet regulation 4.4.1. Where space is
limited a forward approach is allowed, the horizontal Baby Changing
Stations can be installed in compliance with 4.2.5. If the space allows
parallel approach for a person in a wheelchair, the Baby Changing
Stations can be installed to meet 4.2.6.
All polyethylene Baby Changing Stations have Braille instructions molded
on the outside of the doors. Braille instructions are recommended by the
National Federation of the Blind and comply with ADA regulation 4.30.4. |
